Welcome to the NH PAPER Website

This website was developed by the New Hampshire Partnership for the Advancement of Postsecondary Education Research (NH PAPER). Its purpose is to help educators, researchers, policy makers, media, parents and students locate current data and publications that relate to preparation for and participation in postsecondary education in New Hampshire, New England and the nation. This site will be a work in progress. Initially links have been created to allow users to search for information by twelve broad categories. However, we encourage your feedback to inform us about other categories and enhancements that would be useful.

Mission Statement

The New Hampshire Partnership for the Advancement of Postsecondary Education Research (NH PAPER), through a collaborative effort of P-16 organizations, promotes a research agenda to collect, study, analyze and disseminate information on trends and projects that impact postsecondary aspirations and participation, for the benefit of New Hampshire and the New Hampshire economy.

This report is an outgrowth of a Math and Science Partnership grant funded by the New Hampshire Department of Education and the U. S. Department of Education entitled “Making the Transition from High School to College (MaTHSC). The report examines national and local research pertaining to the preparation of students for college and the workforce.
